Every now and then I derpdoodle. Just to see what comes out.

This interesting redesign of Leia surfaced. She’s inspired by the caricature of her Star Wars Detours (made by the same guys who did the Star Wars Robot Chicken skits, I think) show for Cartoon Network. I also wanted to find a way to update her gown while still keeping the general somewhat-androgynous-yet-sexy quality to it. I also gave her leggings so if she runs or jumps, the skirt winding up around her waist isn’t going to cause problems. She probably has this racetrack-style bodysuit on underneath the dress for practical reasons.

I also got the idea that she’d grab the skirt and tuck it into her belt if she needed to have her legs free for fighting. I’m thinking if she was the daughter of Bail Organa, he should’ve given her the best combat training money can buy. The kind of training that’s fairly useful for most situations but gets trumped when she’s fighting large numbers of opponents like stormtroopers, or a strong Force user like Vader. She’d still need rescued from Imperial clutches but would be more than able to help her rescuers after they get her stuck in the cell bay’s garbage bin. :D

This could also add a wicked element of “I’ve been well trained, and I’ve been rescued by a snarky oaf, a clueless teenaged boy, and a walking carpet. What gives?” to her sarcasm, too.

Don’t mind me. I do weird Star Wars headcanons if I’m bored. XD;;;
